Though the reserve is not yet open for bookings, incredibly exciting work has been underway behind the scenes. New dams and large reservoirs have been constructed, along with new water holes being introduced to support the wildlife, and to store precious rainfall for drier seasons. Carefully planned roads have also been built, allowing for better access through the reserve without disturbing the delicate ecosystem.

Beyond the dust and construction taking place, new breathtaking species are finding their home on the reserve. As part of NTONI’s careful conservation efforts, new game is thoughtfully being introduced, including Africa’s legendary Cape Buffalo. Each species will play a crucial role in maintaining the delicate balance of the ecosystem, ensuring both the wildlife and the land thrive together.
