Packages at NTONI

At NTONI we offer seven structured hunting packages. Each package includes full-board accommodation, six to eleven nights on the reserve, and guided hunting with a professional hunter on a 2:1 basis. Guests hunt across the full range of NTONI terrain, supported by experienced PHs, trackers and skinners. A complete overview of species available at NTONI can be found on our species list.

Budget Plains Game Package

5 hunting days / 6 nights

This package includes a compact plains game hunt with a clear and manageable species list. Over five hunting days, guests focus on common and accessible species that move widely across the reserve. The PH leads all stalks and selects mature males.

Spiral Horned Grand Slam

5 hunting days / 6 nights

This five-day package offers a focused trophy hunt for spiral-horned species. Across five full hunting days, guests have time to track mature animals, assess movement patterns and complete measured stalks under professional hunter guidance.

Springbok Grand Slam

6 hunting days / 7 nights

This package focuses entirely on Springbok and includes all four colour variants. Hunters track small herds across open veld and slopes, allowing for multiple planned stalks per day. The PH guides each approach to secure a clean, ethical shot.

Classic Kudu & Plains Game Combo

7 hunting days / 8 nights

This package combines a focused Kudu hunt with a selection of key plains game species. Hunters move through varied terrain, including ridges and open areas where Kudu and Gemsbok are often found. Daily guidance includes planned glassing sessions and controlled stalks.

Premium Plains Game Combo

This package extends the plains game hunt with more days in the field and a wider range of species. Because of the longer duration, hunters can focus on measured stalks, multiple terrain types and consistent opportunities across the reserve.

When is NTONI’s hunting season?

NTONI’s main hunting season runs from March through October, with June to August generally offering especially favourable conditions. Hunts outside the main season may be arranged on request, subject to species availability, regulations and the required permits.

Does NTONI offer rifle and bow hunting?

Yes. NTONI offers guided rifle and bow hunting. Hunts are primarily conducted by spot-and-stalk, with blinds used for bow hunting where appropriate. Management hunts can also be arranged.

Are all listed species always available?

No. Species availability depends on current wildlife populations, conservation priorities, quotas, permits and the time of year. Your final species selection is confirmed during the planning and quotation process.

What is included in a hunting package?

Package inclusions are stated with each offer and confirmed in your personal quote. Packages generally include the listed hunting days and nights, full-board accommodation and professional hunter guidance. Rifle rental, ammunition, gratuities and transfers are excluded unless expressly listed.

Are airport transfers included?

Airport transfers can be arranged from Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport in Gqeberha, commonly still called Port Elizabeth Airport (PLZ), and from King Phalo Airport in East London. Transfers are quoted separately.

Can non-hunting companions and children visit?

Yes. Non-hunting companions, couples and families with children are welcome. Depending on the itinerary, activities can include game drives, wildlife viewing, rock-art hikes, bush meals, sundowners and supervised clay target shooting.

How do I book a hunting safari at NTONI?
